I was sitting in the office yesterday, listening to favorite music as I usually do. All of sudden I come across news from some sources on internet reporting that Google Chromecast users all around the world are finding a problem in streaming content through Streaming media player and Google home devices.
According to news sources, some of the users are facing this problem and the same has not been confirmed from Google side. It was an outage problem reported by a number of users on their devices but no particular device or system suffering from this bug had been detected.
As I was using multiple casting and home devices and I had never ever come across this problem even on my cast App. But, there were users who were that the popular channel apps icon like HBO, YouTube and Netflix are disappeared from the cast screen and they found no cast button for streaming on Big Screen.
Next day, when I start casting the content from my player I run smoothly without any issue. I was surprised how other people are encountering the outage issue. I went on to my business to talk over ongoing projects. Later on, I remembered that groups were playing a day game against players and recommended to cast it on the TV.
When I tried to fire the game to the screen, I found the blackout restriction message on the screen. After this, I head to the app store directly and search for FoxSports app. I install it and log in to the app with provider info. Unfortunately, when I tried to throw the game on the screen, I was left with no solution.
Can you guess what problem I come across? Ok, it was ‘No cast’ button available on the screen. One of my friends then logged into YouTube to have the game displayed on the screen via Fox Sports but all went in vain. He didn’t get success. After this, He tried to play through Built-in cast extension but found no results on the screen. The Chromecast that was attached to the TV couldn’t locate.
Google, later on, confirmed that there has been an outage problem that is crippling the users worldwide. Thankfully to Cast function available on Chromecast. I was able to cast the content on TV with this from Samsung Pro phone.
Good News for you: According to internet sources, it has been confirmed by Google that they are looking for the outage problem solution and they will soon fix it.
So, we can say that the problem looks to have repaired on its own without our input. Within the next one hour, all users will be able to use the capabilities and functionalities of Chromecast available in it.
